This reminded me of last Friday.

My annual pass was going to expire that Saturday, so my mom and I went to Disneyland for out last trip for a while, since we don’t know if we should renew our passes again :(

Anyways, we got there around dinnertime and my mom really wanted to go to California Adventures, so we went there instead of Disneyland. We ate near Paradise Pier, and were able to watch the first show of World Of Color. Well, listen to, really. It was a little too hard to see.

After we finished eating, we went to Toy Story Mania, and the line took probably a good 40 minutes to an hour. But during that time, we were able to finish watching the first showing of World of Color. We had a really good time on Toy Story Mania too. They added new games and new Toy Story 3 characters, which I loved! And I got the high score of the hour, which was a plus! (:

After we got off the ride, the next showing of World of Color was about to start, so we sat down on the bench behind the ferris wheel and watched it from the back. Yeah, it’s not as good as the front (duh) but it was still really enjoyable, just listening to the music and still being able to enjoy the water dancing (:

After the show ended, the park was probably 20-30 minutes from closing. We walked to the newly done Silly Symphony Swings thing, and luckily, it was open! All the rides on the opposite side of California Adventure, like California Screamin’, the ferris wheel, all the pier games, all close down around 9 for World of Color. I was so glad that the swings were on, and my mom decided to join me. She hates rides that make her dizzy, but I sat next to her and she looked like she was having the time of her life, which made me really happy (:

After riding the swings, we rode Mulholland Madness 3 times, cause there were no people! By the time we were done, it was 11:00 PM, and the park was closed. However, they still have a showing of World of Color at 11:15, due to all the people that want to watch it. We were stuck on the opposite side of California Adventures cause they sealed it off to allow for people to enter the viewing area. We either had to walk all the way around the pier again or just wait. We decided to wait, and when we were able to exit the park, the final showing of World of Color started to take place. Sadly, people were telling us to leave, so we watched it for a few minutes and started making our way toward the exit.

Finally, we stopped by the ice cream shop! It was really awesome, and a fun time to just sit and talk with my mom while enjoying some ice cream. We bought some toys, and finally left the park.

That was a really long recap that probably didn’t make any sense, but I hope I’ll be able to remember that day years from now.

It was great to spend time with my mom, as Disneyland’s like our second home, but being able to watch all the showings of World of Color in one day? That’s just unbeatable.
